| Day 01 : Arrive Delhi
A company representative from TNS will welcome you at the international airport and you will be transferred to the hotel, where you can check in at 12 noon. The day has been kept free for you to overcome from Jet Lag and relax.
Day 02 : Delhi - Mandawa
In the morning, you will drive to Mandawa, the heart of Shekhawati region famous all over the world for traditional arts unique to this region. At Mandawa, you will check in at the hotel, where you will spend the night.
In the afternoon, you can explore Havelis of Mandawa known for their frescoes that use vibrant colours and are based on several themes. Themes are however mostly related to Hindu mythological tales related to Lord Rama and Lord Krishna.
Day 03 : Mandawa - Bikaner
You will proceed with the Rajasthan Cultural Tour to Bikaner, the Desert City of Rajasthan. The drive is fascinating as you can observe the real lifestyle and culture of the people of Rajasthan, which is quite unique to the desert environs. At Bikaner, you will check in at a hotel for overnight stay.
In the afternoon, you will go on a sightseeing tour of Bikaner. The highlights of the tour are the formidable Junagarh Fort, which remains unconquered to this day; and the beautiful latticework and filigree work of the Lalgarh Palace that speaks of legendary craftsmanship of the area.
Day 04 : Bikaner
In the morning, you will go on an excursion to Deshnoke Temple dedicated to Goddess Karni Mata. It is believed that devotees of the goddess live in her abode as rats forever and thus, rats are considered sacred here. It is believed that the temple has only one white rat and one who sees it will be blessed with good fortune. In the afternoon, you will visit Asia's only Camel Breeding and Research Farm.
Day 05 : Bikaner - Jaisalmer
A long drive to the Golden City of Jaisalmer awaits you on this day. At Jaisalmer, you will check in at the hotel. You can spend rest of the day at leisure.
Day 06 : Jaisalmer
In the morning, you will see the famous Jaisalmer Fort that justifies the Golden colour being associated to the city with its golden-yellow hued sandstone and backdrop of golden sands. You will also see the famous Havelis of the city known for their beautiful architecture and paintings.
In the afternoon, you will enjoy the camel ride at Sam Sand Dunes, where wind is the sculptor. The undulating waves of sand here shift their shape and colour with the direction of winds and position of sun respectively.
Day 07 : Jaisalmer - Jodhpur
The Blue City of Jodhpur is eager to welcome you on this day of Rajasthan Cultural Tour. You will check in at a hotel for overnight stay and then, embark on a sightseeing tour of the second largest city in Rajasthan. The highlights of the tour are the impressive Mehrangarh Fort, Jaswant Thada or Royal Cenotaphs with intricate latticework marble jalis, Umaid Bhavan Palace and Rai ka Bag Palace.
Day 08 : Jodhpur - Kumbhalgarh
You will drive to Kumbhalgarh on this day, where you will check in at the hotel for overnight stay. In the afternoon, you will visit the Kumbhalgarh Fort, a stronghold of erstwhile rulers of Mewar, which was impregnable except for one Mughal invasion that took combined forces of Delhi, Marwar, and Amber to breach its security. Besides its palaces, gardens, and temples, it houses Haldighati where the famous battle between Emperor Akbar and Rana Pratap was fought.
Day 09 : Kumbhalgarh - Udaipur
You will drive to Udaipur on this day, the most romantic city of Rajasthan often referred to as the Venice of the East. You can visit famous Ranakpur Jain Temples en-route with their 1444 marble pillars with beautiful carvings.
At Udaipur, you will check in at a hotel for overnight stay.
Day 10 : Udaipur
In the morning, you will proceed to a sightseeing tour of the city. The highlights include the Boat Ride in Lake Palace or Jag Niwas, the City Palace with a wonderful Palace Museum, and Maharana Pratap Memorial. The latter half of the day is free for you to explore the city markets and enjoy a ride in its lakes.
Day 11 : Udaipur - Kota
This day will take you to Kota, the place of burgeoning industries and lush green natural environs, where you will check in at a hotel for overnight stay.
En-route, you will visit Chittaurgarh Fort, one of the oldest forts in Rajasthan that has been a mute witness to several sieges and invasions and a history that haunts it to this day.
Day 12 : Kotah - Bundi - Ranthambhore
This day will take you to Ranthambore, where you will check in at the hotel for overnight stay. En-route, you will visit Bundi. palaces, forts, baolis (step wells) and water tanks. The monuments and their architecture reflect the splendor of the local Rajput chiefs. The walls of the palaces at Bundi are decorated with life-size frescoes depicting the glory of its rulers.
Day 13 : Ranthambhore - Jaipur (Distance by Road: 145 km, Usual Time Taken: 2 hrs 30 minutes)
This morning marks the beginning of an exciting day as you embark on a jeep safari to tour around Ranthambore Wildlife Sanctuary. Spread across 400 sq km, Ranthambore is known for its tigers. It is a wonderful place for wildlife and photography enthusiasts. Drive back to Jaipur in the afternoon and check in at the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 14 : Jaipur
In the morning, ride on an elephant like an erstwhile king or queen up the ascent to Amber Fort. Once the bastion of Kachhwaha Rajputs, Amber Fort is built in white marble and red sandstone.
In the afternoon, you will embark on a sightseeing tour of the city of Jaipur. The highlights of the tour are Hawa Mahal or the Palace of Winds, the City Palace complex, and Jantar Mantar, the Royal Observatory. You will spend the night at Jaipur.
Day 15 : Jaipur - Agra (Distance by Road: 235 km, Usual Time Taken: 5 hrs)
On this day, you will embark on Agra, the City of Taj. En-route, you will visit Fatehpur Sikri, the model town developed by Emperor Akbar. Built in the honour of Saint Salim Chisti who blessed the Emperor with an heir, the city of Fatehpur Sikri has some of the most notable edifices such as Buland Darwaza, the Grand Entance; Panch Mahal; and Diwan-e-Khas. However, this dream city had to be abandoned in just two years because of the scarcity of clean drinking water in the region.
Day 16 : Agra - Delhi
On this last day of the tour, you will go on sightseeing at Agra. You will visit Taj Mahal, the delicate marble architecture that enshrines love of Emperor Shah Jahan for his Queen Mumtaz Mahal; Agra Fort, the red sandstone marvel that is much older but quite similar to Delhi's more famous Red Fort; and Itmad-ud-Daullah's Tomb that was built by Empress Noor Jehan in memory of her father.
In the afternoon, you will drive back to Delhi and will be transferred to the International Airport, in time for the flight to onward destination.
